Low Risk 4Wheel Drive - Two Day

CDTA's Low Risk 4Wheel Drive Course is a two-day course for professionals who are serious about managing 4WD safety. The program blends our one-day Low Risk Driving Course with basic 4WD knowledge & skills.
The course is typically delivered on-site, and is designed for professionals who use 4WD vehicles as regular transport.
The program includes classroom learning and practical driving with coaching by a qualified instructor/s. Sessions include on-road driving, off-road driving, rough terrain driving and water crossings. The course does not include vehicle recovery techniques requiring specialist equipment such as snatch-straps, winches or high-rise-jacks.
Aims
By the end of the two-day course participants will be able to -
- Prepare a 4WD for remote or off-road travel
- Effectively operate the special features of 4WD
- Drive a 4WD in a low risk fashion in a range of circumstances
- Think in ways that promote cautious behaviour
- Give themselves feedback for continuous improvement
