Bookings

If you would like to make a booking, please go to the link below, and download the Orica Driver Training Registration Form. When you have completed the form, and had your line manager authorise your training, please fax the form to us at CDTA.

You will need to pay for your position in advance using a credit card. We will forward you a course confirmation notice and some 'Before You Arrive' information by email within two working days.

We will also mail a receipt to you within seven working days. This should be attached to your credit card statement when you code expenses, along with a copy of your faxed registration form.

All individual bookings must be made using the registration form above.

Course Times

All Orica Road Safety & Awareness Module One programs commence at 8.15am and conclude at approximately 5.15pm.

Late starters will not be accepted onto the program. People who leave the program early will be deemed to have 'failed to finish'.

Cancellation Policy

Participants cancelling within the 14 clear business day period prior to the course date (regardless of the date of course confirmation), or who fail to attend on the day, will forfeit 100% of their course fees unless a substitute can be nominated. Substitute delegates are always welcome at no extra cost.

Orica Australia Modules

Module One

Module One is Orica’s standard (compulsory) driver safety & awareness training program. The course is conducted over a full-day between 8.15am and 5.15pm. The course includes both classroom and practical driving activities. Practical driving components take place in ‘real-world’ traffic conditions. Please bring your company car if it is a passenger vehicle. This course can be conducted at your site if you have between 6 & 8 candidates.

Lunch is provided.

Please dress for the prevailing weather.

Minimum 6, maximum 8 participants per day

Module Two

Module Two is a refresher driver safety & awareness training program for Orica drivers who have attended Module One. The course is conducted over a half-day between 8.15am and 12.30pm or 1.15pm and 5.30pm. The course includes both classroom and practical driving activities. Practical driving components take place in ‘real-world’ traffic conditions. Please bring your company car if it is a passenger vehicle. This course can be conducted at your site if you have between 6 & 8 candidates.

Applicants must have attended Module One to qualify.
Please dress for the prevailing weather.
Minimum 6, maximum 8 participants per session.

Module Three

Half Day Post Crash Counselling (Remedial)

Module Three is a remedial driver safety interview & assessment program for Orica drivers who have been nominated by a team leader. The program is conducted over a half-day between 8.30am and 12.30pm or 1.30pm and 5.30pm. The program includes a comprehensive interview and practical driving assessment & coaching. Usually, the program will follow a crash or near-hit event.
